Love Is In The Air

Valentine’s weekend is just around the corner and our friends over at Gaucho are on hand to make sure you can celebrate in style.

From 11–14 February, Gaucho will be serving up a bespoke chateaubriand sharing experience for just £80 per person; absolutely perfect for the steak-lover in your life.

To kick off proceedings you will get the chance to share a selection of starters that include steak tartare, shrimp ceviche and beetroot tartare.

Then it’s straight into the main event! You’ll be treated to a 450g chateaubriand sharing steak, a choice of sides and a selection of divine sauces, including a classic Peppercorn option.

What’s missing? Well, the wine of course, but worry not – Gaucho have that sorted too. This Valentine’s special includes half a bottle of Viña Patricia, per person. Viña Patricia is Gaucho’s exclusive premium Malbec, from their very own vineyard in Lunlunta, Mendoza.

The grapes used to make Viña Patricia come from extremely old, fully certified organic vines (rare for vines of this age). As a vine gets older, in some circumstances, the fruit it produces becomes even better and few are as vintage as these, planted way back in 1928!

If you’ve got room at the end of the night, dessert is also included in the price. Gaucho will be serving up their mouth-watering cookie dough tray bake with a tempting scoop of vanilla ice-cream.Our friends over at Birmingham Cocktail Weekend recommend you finish the evening in the bar with a Butterscotch Bonbon; Grey Goose vodka, butterscotch schnapps, limoncello and lemon juice shaken with vanilla.
