Pack your suitcase… we are bringing the ultimate wine-staycation to Birmingham! Bringing a retreat to the city like you’ve never known before, Birmingham Wine Weekend has brought to life the full-bodied event of your dreams – and we know that you won’t want to miss out!

Taking place on Saturday 17 October – what would’ve been the Saturday of #BWW2020 – we’re uncorking all the wine-filled fun you can imagine, featuring an overnight stay at Birmingham’s iconic Rotunda, a live guided-tasting with two #BWW legends via Zoom, and perfect food pairings.

Relax, un-wine-d and enjoy an evening at Staying Cool’s stunning serviced apartments, taking in the spectacular panoramic views of the city while you embark on your wine-tasting journey. Joining you live from the Penthouse via Zoom, will be wine-aficionado Tony Elvin of The Wine Events Company – who many of you will know from Birmingham Wine Weekends past – and also dialling in will be the renowned Master Sommelier, Nigel Wilkinson. As well as working for the esteemed Boutinot wines, Nigel is one of the judges for the Decanter World Wine Awards and will be serving his unrivalled expertise alongside Tony.

As you settle in for the night you will receive a perfectly chilled glass of Grand Cru Champagne to commence your evening, before uncorking your exclusive wine tasting experience. Each of the rooms will have our hand-picked premium wines, along with perfectly paired cheeses delivered direct to your door from one of your favourite Birmingham Wine Weekend venues, Arch 13.

Brimming with juicy tasting notes, unusual wine facts, and exclusive anecdotes, the tasting will be overflowing with interactive fun as the expert duo lead a live guided tasting.
