World Champagne Day
World Champagne Day is coming up later this month on 28 October, an excellent excuse to sip some fizz if you ask us! So let’s do it…from 25 October – 5 November Arch 13 will be serving up an exclusive Taittinger Wine Flight for you all to enjoy.
For just £15 you can enjoy a taster flight (50ml measures) or for £40 you can enjoy the full flight (125ml measures).
You don’t need a ticket to enjoy this special flight, nor do you need a reservation (although you’re welcome to book) in advance. Just head to the bar, order and enjoy!
We caught up with Arch 13’s Director, Abi for the lowdown on what to expect from the flight:
“For this years World Champagne Day we want to showcase one of our favourite Champagne Houses, Taittinger. Taittinger produce incredible champagnes in a wide variety of styles, from which we have picked three to showcase the variety that the area can make. Brioche and fruit on the nose with bucket loads of peaches and florality. It’s lean on the palette but with a great depth and fresh acidity

Full of red fruits, think freshly crushed raspberries, with back notes of cherries and blackcurrants. Super soft with fresh, bright strawberries on the palette and a lively finish.

Orange blossom and honeysuckle with notes of lightly toasted almonds. Full of richness and and energy whilst remaining wonderfully smooth and well balanced.
